We have a wealth of experience replacing engines.

We will remove your tired old engine, and replace it with a factory fresh, remanufactured or second hand one.

We understand that with vintage fire engines the engine you need may not always be easy to find, and may not be in good condition. We will make every effort to get your new engine to work for you.

We will organise the transportation of your engine if you wish. We have towing equipment and a fork lift truck to transport engines, and we will happily remove an engine from a donor appliance if you wish.

Our head mechanic Ian has lots of experience working specifically on fire engines, having worked for 30 years at Cheshire Fire Brigade workshops.
